HOW YOU AND I CAN WORK TOGETHER*

The Initial Consultation
Before undertaking any representation, it is my practice to have an initial consultation with each prospective client. The initial consultation generally lasts in excess of one hour and provides me with an opportunity to learn about your needs and concerns. Before the conclusion of the consultation, I will provide you with my recommendation of how you should address your employment issue(s), either on your own or with my assistance..
Retention After Consultation

After the initial consultation and depending on the nature of the matter, I can be retained to address your employment issues in one of the following ways:

Hourly Retention
I can be retained on an hourly basis for all matters.

Contingency
In certain circumstances I represent clients on a contingency basis. Under this retainer structure, I receive a percentage of what I help you achieve. It is only after the consultation that I can assess whether a contingency is appropriate for your matter.

Under either retainer arrangement, I require an initial retainer to be placed in escrow And applied towards the hourly charges and/or expenses.

Litigation and Arbitration
In the event that you need my services in connection with a litigation or arbitration proceeding, I generally limit the retainer arrangement to hourly, although in certain matters where I feel it is appropriate I will consider a contingency arrangement. A larger initial retainer is required before litigation or arbitration work begins.
For additional details of how you and I can work together, and for additional information on my rates and fees, please feel free to Contact Me directly.

*Please Note: The above is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on my part to take on any particular matter, or to accept any particular retainer arrangement or fee that is not set forth in a written retainer agreement signed by both myself and the client.
