ANSWERS TO BASIC QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

1. Do I represent employers/companies?
No. I only represent individuals. This minimizes the chance that a conflict of interest will arise.
2. Do I represent individuals who reside outside the City of New York?
Yes. I represent executives and employees throughout the United States and internationally with regard to their severance and employment matters.
3. When is the right time to meet with you regarding my employment matters?
While most individuals, either because of fear or lack of awareness, wait until the need arises (i.e., they have either received their employment agreement or termination notification), there are no clear guidelines for when the advice of a lawyer is necessary to address your employment matters. In my view, a proactive approach is always best. Contacting a lawyer to discuss your options prior to the employment decision being made gives you the opportunity to shape your own future.
4. How do I work with clients?
The first step is to have an initial consultation. At that time, I will review your situation and provide guidance as to your options. If after the consultation you wish to retain my services, then I will work with you in one of the ways described in the Working Together page of this site.
5. How much do I charge?
I charge $500 for the initial consultation. For more details regarding my current hourly, modified contingency and retainer rates please Contact Me directly.
6. How do I set up an appointment with you to discuss my employment matters?
You can Contact Me via telephone or email to schedule a time for a consultation.
7. Do I need to be able to come to your office in order for us to work together?
No. As I noted above, I work with clients from all over the United States and the globe. Most, if not all, of the work for clients who reside outside the New York Metropolitan area is done via a combination of telephone, electronic mail and facsimile.
